Meet the team
Dr Ken Ho
Dr Ken Ho graduated from Sydney University in 1986 with a Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery. He has owned and managed his group of dental practices in Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle for over 30 years. Dr Ho has since transitioned these practices and is seeking a new challenge in the provision of high-quality dental health that is affordable and available for the whole Australian community.
Nithij Shrestha
Practice Manager
Nithij (pronounce ‘Ni’ ‘Titch”) is our practice manager since the 2016. She is originally from Nepal and has a degree in Bachelor of computer engineering. She has also completed her certificate III in Dental Assisting. She is currently continuing her further dental education in Oral hygiene and practice management. At GFD she has a infectious smile which patient loves. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family of two boys and young husband and loves to host family gatherings and cultural celebrations.
Dr Tegan Ryan
Dentist
Dr Tegan Ryan graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney after completing a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours. She then completed the New Graduate program at Westmead Centre for Oral Health and has spent time volunteering in both Cambodia and the Philippines providing dental care to underprivileged rural communities.
Dr Ryan is enthusiastic about building rapport with her patients and is devoted to improving their oral and general health through education and the best dental care. She is committed to continued learning and development in all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in paediatric dentistry and oral surgery.
Outside of dentistry, she is an avid sailor, skier and trapeze artist who loves traveling, puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
Aly Glacken
Clinical Manager
Althea (Aly) Glacken is our Clinical Manager. She has a long experience in the dental industry and has been working in private general and specialist practices since the age of 19. Aly gained her Graduate certificates in Dental Assisting and Radiology. Her role at Gordon Family Dental is to oversee the clinical aspects of the practice and helps trains and orientate new talents into our team.
She is a modern working mother of 2 beautiful kids. She enjoys fitness and is a keen traveler. When you meet her, you’ll find that she is friendly and approachable.
Olivia Yousif
Clinical Assistant
Olivia Yousif is our clinical assistant at Gordon Family Dental. She has completed her dental assistant course and is currently enrolled in an additional dental radiography course. Olivia is very passionate about dentistry and is always aspiring to further her education within the field. She is an incredibly talented cook, who loves to spend her time exploring different countries and trying their cuisines. If you are a dog lover, make sure to let Olivia know as she is our practice’s number one dog fan.
Mariam El Mustapha
Mariam is from the city of Edmonton, Canada. She is a second-year dental student at the University of Sydney with a previous degree in biology and psychology from the University of Alberta. Mariam is our clinical assistant at Gordon Family Dental. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, swimming and traveling. She also has a profound love for penguins and polar bears.
